Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to your Alakè membership, your selected payment plan, and your use of membership benefits.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before completing your membership payment. By completing payment and accepting these terms at checkout, you confirm that you have read and agreed to them.
Membership Term
Alakè membership is for a period of 12 months, beginning on the date your first membership payment is completed.
Membership Fees and Payment Options
Members may choose one of the following payment options:
Annual: US$1,000 paid in one payment.
Quarterly: US$250 charged automatically every three months for four payments.
Monthly: US$100 charged automatically each month for ten payments.
The monthly and quarterly options are payment plans for one 12-month Alakè membership. They are not month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter memberships.
Automatic Payments
By selecting the monthly or quarterly payment option, you authorize Alakè and its payment provider, Stripe, to automatically charge the payment method you provide according to your selected payment schedule.
Your authorization continues until all scheduled payments for your membership term have been completed, subject to any rights available to you under applicable law.
Non-Refundable Payments
Membership fees and payments already made are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Choosing not to use or redeem membership benefits, attend membership events, or take part in opportunities available through Alakè does not entitle a member to a refund.
Payment Plans and Outstanding Payments
Selecting a monthly or quarterly payment plan does not shorten the 12-month membership commitment.
If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, Stripe may retry the payment using the payment method on file. Alakè may contact you to request an updated payment method.
If payments remain outstanding, Alakè may suspend access to membership benefits until the account is brought up to date.
Membership Renewal
Your membership does not automatically renew for another 12-month membership term.
Before the end of your membership, Alakè may invite you to renew. A new membership term will begin only after you choose to renew and complete the applicable renewal process.
Membership Benefits
Alakè may occasionally adjust the format, timing, or delivery of individual membership experiences, events, or benefits. Any such changes will not alter the overall 12-month membership term.
Personal Membership
Alakè membership is personal to the member and may not be transferred, resold, or shared with another person unless Alakè agrees otherwise in writing.
Applicable Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted in the country or jurisdiction applicable to you.
